Intraoral Camera

Have you ever wondered what exactly your dentist is seeing when they take a close look at your mouth? Now, you no longer have to wonder thanks to our intraoral camera. This pen-like device has a tiny camera on its tip. When we maneuver this instrument around in your mouth, it can capture crystal-clear images of your teeth and gums, which are projected in real time onto a chairside monitor. Not only does this let you see exactly what your dentist sees, but you’ll gain a better understanding of why he might recommend a particular treatment.

Digital X-Rays

Instead of relying on traditional X-rays to diagnose dental problems hidden beneath the surface, we use 100% digital X-rays. This technology helps save you valuable time, as the images can be generated almost immediately as opposed to needing to wait for them to be developed in a darkroom. Additionally, these images are more high-definition, leading to more accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. Digital X-rays also emit about 90% less radiation, making them a much safer option.

Digital Impression System

If you’ve ever had to get a crown, veneer, or mouthguard, you’ve probably had to get impressions taken by biting into a chunk of gross-tasting putty. This method of taking impressions often caused discomfort and gagging, and the molds it created weren’t always fully accurate. Fortunately, our dental office uses a digital impression system for enhanced comfort and precision. By digitally scanning your teeth, we can capture impressions much more quickly and comfortably, all without the mess.
